The BD Neopak™ XSi™ glass pre-fillable syringe combines the BD Neopak™ glass pre-fillable syringe with proprietary immobilized silicone coating, significantly reducing potential concerns associated with silicone without introducing new chemical substances.
Breakthrough particle reduction
BD XSi coating significantly reduces the level of subvisible particles. This helps assure compliance with USP General Chapter <788> and alleviate potential concerns related to drug/silicon interaction.1–4
Tried and tested chemistry
The BD Neopak XSi syringe uses DC360 silicone, which has been the gold-standard lubricant for glass pre-fillable syringes for decades. It is immobilized on the barrel wall without introducing new chemical substances, so the syringe can leverage and build on the ample drug/container compatibility of glass pre-fillable syringes.
Robust lubricant layer
The BD Neopak XSi syringe has been optimized to withstand challenging formulation and aggressive conditions. This helps conserve state-of-the-art gliding performance throughout the drug's shelf life.3,5
